Kenneth Winston
Administrator
Kenneth Winston is the Administrator of Westhampton Care Center. Previously, he served the Glenhaven Health Care
Organization for 35 years, the first 26 as Administrator
of the Glengariff Health Care Center in
Glen Cove and the balance as Chief Operating
Officer of the Glengariff Center, and the Port
Jefferson Health Care Facility in Port Jefferson.
During his tenure, his Glen Cove facility earned
32 years of perfect no-deficiency scores from
the State of New York Department of Health.
He has served as a State approved Preceptor mentoring
several “administrators in training” preparing them for
their careers. Additionally, he was a founding member
and first President of the Intercounty Health Care
Facilities Association, a 6-year President of the Nassau
Health Care Facilities Association and a 10-year Board
Member of the New York State Health Facilities Association.
Ken has testified before Congress regarding
skilled nursing facility issues. He has served as Chair
of the Long Island Healthcare Labor Association for the
past 19 years.
Mr. Winston garnered a BA Degree from Hofstra University,
an MS Degree in Hospital Administration from
Columbia University, and a New York State Nursing
Home Administrators License by the NYS Department
of Health in the early 1970’s. A Fellow of the American
College of Health Care Administrators since 1982, the
New York Chapter of the same Organization in 1997
awarded him the “Administrator of the Year.”

Margaret Fernandes comes to Westhampton Care Center with nearly 40 years of experience in long term care. She is a graduate of the Central Islip State Hospital School of Nursing and holds a Bachelors in Gerontology and Education. She has recently been awarded her Masters in Business Administration in Project Management. |
Over her career, Margaret has held the position as the Director of Nursing Services in several Skilled Nursing Facilities achieving successful Annual Survey outcomes. She has also served as a Nursing Services Consultant during this period. This background has provided her with a wide array of experiences that permit her to address the clinical and emotional needs of each resident as well as address the administrative and business needs of the nursing home setting.
Margaret is a resident of Massapequa and resides with her husband, daughters and grandson. She enjoys her hobbies of genealogy, music and crocheting and enjoys sharing these with the residents.

A family physician since 1987, Dr. Anreder has
served as the Medical Director of the Westhampton Care Center since 1996. A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Anreder’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of family practice with an emphasis on geriatric medicine. |
Areas of particular interest
include integrative and holistic approaches to
the treatment of chronic illness and the utilization
of botanical, nutritional and functional approaches
to optimize the health and wellness of his
patients. Dr. Anreder is also a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine
at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine.
