Our Services

Medical Services

Westhampton Care Center offers residents a full range of services.

Residents receive 24-hour, skilled nursing care under supervision of an attending physician. Dental and podiatric services are also provided on-site. If needed, hospital services are just minutes away.

Our caring and compassionate medical team is supervised by Dr. Lewis Anreder, who has been a family practitioner on the East End for over 15 years. Dr. Anreder -- who serves as school physician at the Quogue and East Quogue school districts -- is extremely active in the community.  Residents receive personal treatment delivered by caring,

credentialed professionals.

Upon admission, each resident is evaluated and an individualized care plan is created that meets his or her needs. We then monitor each resident's plan, making adjustments to the care plan as soon as a change becomes necessary.

Services include:

  • Long-term care
  • Alzheimer's disease/dementia care (dedicated unit)
  • Complex medical care
  • Pain management
  • Sub-acute care
  • Wound care
  • Terminal care

Rehabilitation Services

At the Westhampton Care Center, we offer both short-term and long-term restorative programs that are tailored to the needs of the individual resident.

Our consistent goal is to promote the highest possible degree of independent functioning. The center's team of registered occupational and physical therapists devise challenging and creative rehabilitation programs for each resident. Exercises are designed to improve motion, strength, and mobility, while functionally-oriented activities contribute to enhanced coordination and motor skills.

Rehabilitation services include:

  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Short-term rehabilitation

Our medical and rehabilitation programs -- combined with the center's social (LINK) program and activities -- together serve to maximize each resident's physical and emotional well-being.

Social Services

We recognize that residents often experience uncertainties as they acclimate themselves to their new environment.

To ease the transition process, Westhampton Care Center residents can obtain counseling services from certified social workers. Guidance is offered through one-to-one supportive visits. Licensed psychologists provide psychotherapy services in both individual and group settings.

We recognize that family members are also making adjustments during this period, and the center offers counseling services to them as well.
